So many beautiful clothing and not a single occasion to wear them. Sounds familiar? So why not wear it in the middle of the winter with -6 degrees Celsius on the thermometer? You must think I'm crazy right :P. Well I think so too because I was freezing my ass off! Thank god the sun helped me out as you can see in the pictures. My photographer was moving like crazy from 1 place to another and I didn't had a clue what he was doing. He looked like he had too much sugar but when I saw the pictures I realized he was capturing the sunlight haha. Now about the outfit...this season there is a lot of black and white on the catwalk. You can't go wrong with black and white right. I added some gold for the finishing touch. The sheer sleeves look very light and elegant. I am also a big fan of floppy hats it's kind of mysterious and extravagant. Have you seen the matching nails? Very simple with some black and gold. Less is more they say.

COAT H&M - SCARF H&M - BAG DKNY - WATCH DANIEL WELLINGTON

This coat is from the new H&M collection. At first I hesitated to buy it. I love leopard prints but in my opinion it can be a bit risky. I tried to make it chic by adding a scarf,  a simple bag and pumps. This way it will not look ''overdressed''. By putting the scarf in the coat creates a different hoodie/headscarf look. Kind of retro which I really like. I was never a big fan of the color yellow but I've changed my mind. It's fun, bright and looks great. There's only one critical point. My friends are calling me canary now.  I prefer Tweety thank you! :P

I love printed shirts but to tell you the truth this shirt is not mine. I borrowed it from my little brother haha. It's not that I don't have enough clothing. It's just... sometimes you feel the need to try something else and there is nothing in your closet that can surprise you. Since my little brother is a true fashionista I thought I'd have a look in his closet. Well guess what! I spotted plenty garments that I could wear so I will be posting more of his clothing in the feature lol. The boots are really comfortable despite the high heels. I could wear them all day without complaining about my sore feet. What else could a girl wish for right ^^.

HANDPAINTED BY ME

This is a portrait of Victoria's Secret model: Miranda Kerr. I handpainted this on a nail >.< I have to admit it was a difficult task and it took me about 1,5 hours. The eyes are are too far away from each other but I'm still very happy with the result. It's painted on a little nail so how critical can you be right? This is one of my masterpieces, what do you think?

I dyed my hair for an edgy look and I have to say:"mission accomplished"! To match my hair I wore a biker chic outfit. The ballerina skirt and the bun hairstyle adds a soft touch to the leather look. On my way to the shoot I accidentally ripped my pantyhose lol! Oh well sometimes you'll have to improvise so I ripped it a little more to create a badass look haha. While we were shooting some tourists came over to ask us what we were doing. I am a fashion blogger I said! ☺

A NEW YEAR, A NEW BEGINNING

The beginning of my blog!!! Yeeey I'm so excited! I've always wanted to start my own blog to share my creativity and thoughts with the world. But mostly due to lack of time blablabla... this is just an excuse! I think some of you can relate to that? All you have to do is make time and get started! Which brings us to this blog. I will be blogging about fashion, nail art and the things I love. I will even create nail art tutorials,  wouldn't that be fun? ^^

Let me introduce myself, my name is Minh Nguyen a perfectionist, optimist and creative mind. Born in Vietnam, based in The Netherlands. When I was 5 years old my parents brought me and my brother to The Netherlands. We were "boat people". My Little brother was born in Indonesia while we were on our terrified yet hopeful adventure. My parents have concurred a lot and I'm always grateful to them for giving us a bright future! Family is the most precious thing in life ♥.

Besides nail art I'm also into fashion. Fashion is part of our lives so why not enjoy and put a little effort into it. I always feel like cinderella when I wear my newest acquisitions, somehow it gives me a boost of confidence. My style can be minimalistic and casual but most of the times edgy and playful. Just like Carrie Bradshaw in SATC.
